Spartacus Leathers to Exhibit at ANME Founders Show

BURBANK — Portland-based BDSM products company Spartacus Leathers is gearing up for the semi-annual ANME Founders Show, to be held Jul. 17-19 at the Marriott Airport Burbank Hotel in Burbank, Calif.

In addition to exhibiting at the show, Spartacus Leathers will be attending the 2016 StorErotica Awards, to be held on the evening of Mon., Jul. 18 at ANME. Recognizing excellence in the adult retail community, the StorErotica Awards honors brick-and-mortar businesses as well as distributors and manufacturers.

“We’re thrilled to be returning to the ANME Founders Show and the StorErotica Awards,” said Josh Miller, vice president for Spartacus Leathers. “We have enjoyed meeting distributors and retailers at every show and look forward to reconnecting with our established partners and forging new agreements at ANME.”

Founded in 1987 by the late “Big Al” Bedrosian, Spartacus Leathers began in the basement of the original Portland retail store. By providing high-quality, handcrafted kink gear under Bedrosian’s supervision, the company grew quickly to become a decades-long mainstay of the BDSM and adult communities.

Miller said, “We strive to bring high-quality BDSM products to the bedrooms, dungeons, and play parties of fetishists everywhere; it has been our goal for 29 years. We will be introducing some new items to our catalog at this show. We encourage everyone to meet with us to see what we have in store.”

Bedrosian, described by a Spartacus Leathers representative as “a visionary pioneer of the BDSM products industry,” passed away in 2013.

“Spartacus Leathers honors his legacy by continuing to produce a full line of carefully crafted leather, metal, rubber and glass items,” a company spokesperson said. “From clamps, whips, floggers and chastity devices, to leather goods varying from collars, leashes, blindfolds, body harnesses and more, Spartacus Leathers’ products are highly valued both in Portland as well as around the world. The company’s glass dildo and anal plug line, Blown, continues to receive rave reviews, and its Kink Kit is an often-sought product as gifts and an introductory purchase for beginner fetishists.”

Spartacus Leathers will be located at Tent Booths 31 and 33 at the 2016 ANME Founders Show.
