Misty Stone, Lily Cade, Foxxy React to Orlando Tragedy

LOS ANGELES — Adult stars Misty Stone, Lily Cade, Jasmine Summers and Foxxy have expressed their thoughts on the terrorist attack that occurred over the weekend in a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., where 49 people were killed and 53 people were injured.

Cade said that on Sunday, upon learning of the attack, she was "shocked and saddened. It's easy to think that gay rights are a settled issue, especially living in Los Angeles. Gay marriage is the law of the land, LGBT characters are all over TV, and it's been years since I've personally encountered anti-gay sentiment stronger than, 'Are you sure you haven't had the right dick yet?' This attack reminded me that there is still so much intolerance in the world, and that there are people who wish us dead just for being queer."

Summers found out about the shooting while attending the gay celebration L.A. Pride, held Jun. 10-12 in West Hollywood.

Summers said, "My girlfriend and I were at L.A. Pride, and also went to participate in the Los Angeles rally and vigil for Orlando. We were shocked to hear about this, and the fact that they caught a guy heading to the L.A. Pride who may have been planning to do the same thing. This is very heartbreaking and very wrong. No one should be killed because of their sex orientation, religious beliefs or color of their skin. We are sending out our love and prayers."

Stone said, "This is a terrible, baby. God bless them. I have been following the news and reading accounts of this online, and I am sending my love to the families of the victims. We are hearing a lot of the politicians and news coverage talking about the politics of gun banning or that crazy Trump character talking about banning Muslims from coming into the country. WTF? What we need to remember is that families have lost their loved ones. Pray for them, and pray for our country."

Foxxy, a trans performer, said, "First, we had people in this country trying to keep transgender people from using bathrooms, and now, we have a person who was born here in the U.S. going out and killing people in a nightclub just because they were homosexuals? This is crazy! We need to stop attacks on people because of their sexual orientation. I am sending out all of my love and prayers to all of the families and the victims that are recovering in the hospitals."
