LOS ANGELES — Siri Dahl will host the second 12-hour "Corn Telethon" livestream with several of her friends from inside and outside the industry on Thursday, Sept. 4.
The fundraiser, produced and organized by Dahl and mainstream podcast producers Alex Steed and Madelynn Britt, will benefit Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) L.A. and Sex Workers Mutual Aid (SWAID) Las Vegas.
"What started as a cheeky fundraiser to raise awareness has grown into a full-blown celebration of resistance, joy, and community in the face of attacks on free speech and accelerated authoritarianism," said a rep. "Project 2025 is real, and we’re seeing the plan going exactly as we’ve warned."
The livestream will feature a rotating group of performers, activists, comedians, musicians, and writers.
"Yes, there will be costumes. Yes, it will be ridiculous," the rep added. "But our purpose is clear — we’ll be shining a harsh light on the diminishing state of free speech in this country."
