Doc Johnson Featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Doc Johnson announced today that its new TRYST massager has been awarded the title of Sex Toy of the Month in this month’s issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, which hit newsstands yesterday.

“We’re very pleased that TRYST was recognized by Cosmopolitan as one of the best pleasure products in the world,” said Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson’s chief creative officer and COO. “Doc Johnson has always led the way when it comes to developing innovative products that empower our customers to maximize their sexual health and satisfaction. TRYST came from the desire to bring something to market that offered a totally unique, inclusive experience. It’s not just a couple’s toy — women can use it alone, men can use it alone, it’s undoubtedly amazing for solo play — but when partners use it together, it’s a game-changer. The fact that Cosmopolitan’s write-up perfectly echoes our own vision of TRYST is extremely gratifying.”

In addition to the magazine’s announcement of TRYST as the “Sex Toy of the Month,” Cosmopolitan also describes the massager-and-c-ring combo as the ultimate toy to use “all over [your] body”, detailing a variety of the item’s pleasurable functions.

“Cosmo reaches millions of readers every day,” said Scott Watkins, Doc Johnson’s VP of sales and marketing. “The top-tier media coverage Doc Johnson has been receiving in the past few months has exponentially increased our website traffic — and retailers should prepare for increased demand of TRYST as this issue hits newsstands across the country.”

Doc Johnson’s feature in Cosmopolitan is the latest in a string of recent mainstream coverage for Doc Johnson, which includes an LA Weekly full-length article, “A Sex-Toy Empire is Thriving in North Hollywood”, a special profile in LAist entitled, “Inside Doc Johnson, Los Angeles' Massive Sex Toy Factory,” and a playful shout-out in US Weekly from Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg.
