Flirt4Free Acquires PeekShows.com

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. — Live cam giant Flirt4Free today said it has acquired pioneering cam site PeekShows.com.

Flirt4Free Vice President Brad Estes said PeekShows’s business model’s similarities to the core business of Flirt4Free made it an attractive acquisition target.

“We are thrilled to be in a position where we can expand on what [PeekShow CEO and owner Richard Arcand] and his team built by incorporating Peekshows.com into our platform,” Estes said. “Our ability to explore acquisitions and strategic partnerships is based on our strong foundation of employees, performers and technology.”

Founded in 1996, Flirt4Free has paved the way for the live cam industry by integrating live chats and shows with interactive gamification features.

The company continues an ongoing effort and commitment to the industry by expanding its business into new media platforms, Estes said.

Arcand, who started up Las Vegas-based PeekShows in 1999, said: “After many years in the industry it is a pleasure handing PeekShows.com over to Flirt4Free knowing that the PeekShows name will live on under a respected and professional company. I look forward to seeing their talented team grow PeekShows to its past glory.”

Models or studios who are interested in broadcasting with the Flirt4Free network can apply at Webcam4Money.com. Affiliates interested in promoting Flirt4Free or creating their own white labeled site can apply here.
