LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Award-winning director Axel Braun is adding adult star and Penthouse Pet Lexi Belle to the cast of "The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," now the subject of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
“Lexi is by far one of the most beautiful adult stars in the industry, and she is also totally awesome and fun to be around, so I'm very happy to welcome her aboard,” Braun said. “Her popularity, combined with her award-winning talent, made her an easy choice when we were looking to add top of the line talent that fans would be willing to help support.”
"The Empire Strikes Back XXX" is the sequel to the highest-selling adult movie of all time, "Star Wars XXX: An Axel Braun Parody." When the crowdfunding drive succeeds, the proposed movie will become the first adult film to be released free of charge. The effort is Braun’s statement against piracy, and those who illegally download movies.
Belle previously channeled Yvonne Craig as Batgirl in Braun's 2010 blockbuster parody "Batman XXX."

"The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" includes returning cast members Allie Haze (Princess Leia), Lexington Steele (Darth Vader) and Seth Gamble (Luke Skywalker), as well as Carter Cruise, Aiden Ashley, Riley Steele, Casey Calvert, Dani Daniels and Asa Akira.

"The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" is scheduled to begin production on June 1 and continue for 28 days in California, Nevada and Alaska. It will be released on Sept. 30.
