LOS ANGELES — Casey Calvert is joining the cast of XBIZ Award-winning director Axel Braun’s "The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," now the subject of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
Calvert will play Tendra Risant Calrissian, the wife of famed character Lando Calrissian. This will mark the first time Tendra is portrayed in film or television. To date, the character has only appeared in Star Wars literature.
"We are very lucky and grateful to have Casey on board,” Braun said. “She is not only a fantastic performer, but also an extremely intelligent woman who will infuse her role with so much more than her obvious stunning looks.
“And speaking of her role…” he added. "Although Tendra was not part of the original movie, our script features her in an important role that sheds some light on Han and Lando's relationship."
"The Empire Strikes Back XXX" is the sequel to the bestselling adult movie of all time, "Star Wars XXX: An Axel Braun Parody." Braun’s goal is to combat piracy by giving fans "The Empire Strikes Back XXX" for free online, as the movie will be completely crowdfunded. This will deny pirates the opportunity to profit from the potential blockbuster.
Calvert, a BDSM and fetish expert for adult e-tail site GameLink.com, was nominated 2016 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year and received the 2015 XRCO Unsung Siren award. Calvert’s role as Power Woman (Jessica Jones) in "Spider-Man XXX 2: An Axel Braun Parody," marked another cinematic debut of a popular character, preceding Krysten Ritter’s turn in Netflix’s "Jessica Jones."

"The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" includes returning cast members Allie Haze (Princess Leia), Lexington Steele (Darth Vader) and Seth Gamble (Luke Skywalker), along with Riley Steele, Carter Cruise, Aiden Ashley and Asa Akira, on special loan from Wicked Pictures. "The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" is scheduled to begin production June 1 and continue for 28 days in California, Nevada and Alaska. It will be released on Sept. 30.
