LOS ANGELES — 2016 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year Dani Daniels is joining the cast of director Axel Braun’s "The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," now the subject of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. She will portray Toryn Farr, a communications officer for the Rebel Alliance, who coordinates the defense of the ice planet Hoth.
The movie is the sequel to the bestselling adult movie of all time, "Star Wars XXX: An Axel Braun Parody." When the crowdfunding drive for "The Empire Strikes Back XXX" succeeds, the movie will become the first feature adult film to be released free of charge across the world, on all platforms.
"Being a ‘Star Wars’ nerd myself, I am beyond excited to be a part of ‘The Empire Strikes Back XXX!’” Daniels exclaimed. “Axel is an incredible legend, and I can't wait to see the nerd-gasm porn film he creates.”
“I can't believe he offered me a part — even though I should have been Chewbacca, since I totally have the bush for it,” she added. “I can't wait for the true fans to donate and see it when it's done."
Daniels, who was named Female Performer of the Year at the 2016 XBIZ Awards and won two other XBIZ Awards since her 2011 arrival in the adult industry, will bring added star power to an already all-star cast. "The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" includes returning cast members Allie Haze (Princess Leia), Lexington Steele (Darth Vader) and Seth Gamble (Luke Skywalker), as well as Riley Steele, Carter Cruise, Aiden Ashley and Asa Akira, on special loan from Wicked Pictures.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have Dani in the cast,” Braun said. “She’s a terrific performer and a gifted actress, and she’s definitely a fantastic addition to our already stellar cast!”
Braun aims to make the production model of "The Empire Strikes Back XXX" a statement against piracy, while giving back to fans with a movie that is completely crowdfunded. Once the movie is completed, it will be 100 percent free-of-charge via online download.
Set up as a Fixed Funding effort through Indiegogo, the campaign will ensure all contributions will be automatically refunded if it does not meet its $500,000 funding goal by April 22.
