LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has announced the release of David Lord's "Casual Encounters," starring jessica drake.
Co-starring Romi Rain and Olivia Austin, "Casual Encounters" is now in stores nationwide. Lord’s script follows the saga of Julie (jessica drake), a woman who embarks on a sexually charged voyage of self-discovery after answering an ad in the “casual encounters” section of a website.
“Playing Julie was both amazing and complicated,” drake said. “To have no dialogue at all in the movie sounded easy, but proved to be difficult. I loved her exploration of sex, and I loved that it coincided with mine in some ways — I’ve wanted to shoot a gangbang for quite a while now, and David Lord’s script gave me the perfect reason!
“Working with David Lord as a director was a great experience," she added. "Everyone has their own style, and I was impressed by not only his vision, but his execution. He was attentive to detail and showcased me in what I now consider to be one of the top movies of my career. I can’t wait to collaborate with him again.”
Rather than rely on explanatory dialogue, Lord communicates the story through gritty cinematic visuals and erotic tension.
“We live in a Tinder-obsessed, social media-focused time,” Lord said. “'Casual Encounters' is a comment on the direction our whole culture is headed in. It’s really unlike anything else out there. It was a risky move to tell a story without standard dialogue scenes and I’m grateful to Wicked Pictures for giving me the opportunity.”
Of drake, he remarked, “She was amazing! Always up for the challenge and always prepared. She’s perfect as Julie. Romi Rain is excellent as well, and it was fun to work with Olivia Austin again, who was also in 'The Key.' The entire cast stepped up, as did the crew. In addition to myself, I had Mike Quasar, Barrett Blade and Alex Ladd on camera. The movie looks phenomenal.”
Both shot and edited in 16x9 widescreen HD, the 'Casual Encounters' DVD features three bonus sex scenes, a still gallery, trailers and other exclusive content. It also comes encased in an O-card depicting a blindfolded jessica surrounded by the male cast, which includes Steven St. Croix, Mr. Pete, Derrick Pierce, Marcus London and Eric Masterson.
