Adult Empire Launches Second App on Roku Platform

PITTSBURGH — Online adult retailer and entertainment website AdultEmpire.com has announced the release of its second app, which is now available on the Roku platform.

AE’s free app enables customers to rent or buy content from the site’s VOD library of more than 80,000 full-length movies.

A pay-per-minute option is available, with users able to purchase minutes within the app.

AE’s new app also gives customers access to previews, screenshots, trailers, and any movies currently in the user’s queue.

“This new app gives our customers the most comprehensive access to our movies with all the extras, including user privacy and parental controls,” Adult Empire’s Director of Marketing, Megan Wozniak, explains. “We’re excited to partner with Roku for the opportunity to bring our movies to adult audiences.”

Much like AE’s original Unlimited channel for Roku, viewers can start streaming adult movies directly via the Roku player, with reliable streaming of the highest quality scenes, advanced search capability, and movie previews.

“AE’s new Roku app is part of the company’s rebranding as a full-service production and distribution company with added online features,” Wozniak adds, “[including] the AE blog, with its porn star interviews, news and YouTube weekly AE update.”
