LOS ANGELES — Former California gubernatorial candidate and adult star Mary Carey will cover “The Sexy Side of Politics” in a new segment on her VividRadio.com “Happy Hour” show, airing Jan. 5, 12-1 p.m. (PST).
“Mary is definitely the most political porn star in the history of the adult industry,” said Farrell Hirsch, general manager of VividRadio.com
“When she ran for governor of California in 2003 as an independent it was a bit of a lark for her, but when she wound up with a credible showing (10th out of 136 candidates) it influenced her to take a stronger interest in politics,” he added.
"Mary’s coverage of the political scene leading up to the presidential election should be fun and insightful listening as she is admittedly strong willed and opinionated," stated Vivid Radio.
“Politics is all about power and so is sex,” Carey said. “I’m intrigued with the current presidential candidates and with so much television exposure for them, I think I’ve had a chance to get a feel for how effective each of them would be in bed.
"And, yes, this could be an indicator of how they would lead our country," she continued. "This will be just one focus of my segments.”
