Standard Innovation Acquires Loop Health, Launching Attivia Brand

OTTAWA, Ontario — Standard Innovation has acquired Loop Health, a health-focused technology startup based in Norway.

According to the company, the purchase allows Standard Innovation to expand the breadth of its science-backed, superior-quality product offering in the broader health and wellness market. In the coming months, the company will launch pelvic health products under the new Attivia brand.

“When first introduced to Loop Health, we were immediately impressed with the innovative design and technology that the talented Loop Health team brought to the table,” says Frank Ferrari, president of Standard Innovation. “With the addition of Loop Health we expand and broaden the reach of our product portfolio and pave the way for a creation of Attivia.”

Loop Health CEO Adam Scheuring said, "We started Loop Health to give people better health and wellness experiences through thoughtful design and use of technology. With Standard Innovation’s successful history of delivering superior quality consumer products, we’re confident that we can make a bigger impact on people’s lives with Attivia.”

Scheuring, Anders Guldahl, Line Andersen and Karianne Ellekrans founded Loop Health in 2013. Scheuring and Guldahl are engineers with expertise in both hardware and software development; they join the product development team at Standard Innovation.

Andersen and Ellekrans have years of experience in developing intimate products for women and they take on new design and marketing roles. The acquisition includes all Loop Health assets including technology, patents and personnel.
