KinbakuToday.com Showcases Japanese Rope Bondage

LOS ANGELES — KinbakuToday.com, a website that brings together Japanese, European, and North American practitioners of the art of Japanese erotic rope bondage — often called shibari or kinbaku — announced that it is playing a key role in promoting events and showcasing the talents of rope artists across the globe.

The website debuted in 2014 and features historical articles about the art, galleries from world famous rope masters from all over the globe, and interviews with prominent Japanese figures who have helped shaped the art over the past 50 years.

Founder and editor, Zetsu, said he is one a handful of Westerners to be accepted into a Japanese school of kinbaku. As member of Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki’s school, under the name Haru Yutaka, he has earned certification (menkyo) to teach Yukimura’s unique style of rope bondage. As a co-founder of LA Rope he also teaches classes and holds workshops in the Los Angeles area.

The site has published more than 100 stories and has been viewed by more than 30,000 people worldwide, according to the operators.
