LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures on Friday announced that Axel Braun, winner of the 2015 XBIZ Parody of the Year award for "Cinderella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," has released the first trailer for "Barbarella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody."

"Barbarella XXX" marks the debut of Wicked Comix, a new imprint dedicated exclusively to comic book parodies. All Wicked Comix titles are being helmed by three-time XBIZ Director of the Year Braun, who's currently in production on "Batman v Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody."
A campy, tongue-in-cheek spoof of Jean-Claude Forest’s classic sci-fi comic strip and Roger Vadim's 1968 film adaptation, Braun's upcoming release stars ABP contract girl Riley Steele in the titular role made famous by Jane Fonda. Her co-stars include Wicked Pictures contract star Asa Akira as The Great Tyrant and adult industry superstars Tera Patrick and Ron Jeremy, both of whom appear in the new trailer.
“It’s no secret that I had a ball shooting this movie, but editing it was even more fun,” said Braun, who even wrote and performed the film's title song. “'Barbarella XXX' is so over the top, and colorful, and sexy...Riley carries the movie like the superstar that she is, and Asa’s performance is so intense and hilarious at the same time that in all of her scenes it was really difficult picking which take was better. Since I announced the movie, the response has been overwhelming, I guess there’s something about Barbarella that really resonates with the fans, and I hope they’ll enjoy the trailer.”
Steele remarked, "Axel showed me the trailer a few days ago, and I was just beyond flabbergasted! There I was, floating in zero gravity in my pink fur spaceship," she said, referring to the trailer's spoof of Jane Fonda's iconic floating strip-tease sequence. "You also get to see me making out with Asa Akira and sharing the screen with Tera Patrick! I’m so totally proud of this movie, and my fans have been very vocal about wanting to see it, so I literally can’t wait for it to come out! It’s gonna be amazeballs!”
For Akira, Braun's new film gave her an opportunity to flex her muscles in new directions. “I had a wonderful time playing The Great Tyrant for Axel,” she said. “Between the elaborate set, beautiful wardrobe, and crazy hot sex with Riley, I feel very lucky to have been a part of this big, fun production. Parodies are not something I get to do often, so this was a new and exciting experience for me. I can’t wait to see the finished product!”
The cast also includes ebony starlet Chanell Heart, hot newcomer Rachael Madori, and Best Actor nominee Kurt Lockwood, whose last collaboration with the director was "24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody."
"Barbarella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" will hit stores on DVD in March 2015.
