Adult DVD Empire Adds HD DVD Titles, Section

WARRENDALE, Pa. — Looking to jumpstart the market for adult entertainment titles in the new HD DVD format, online retailer Adult DVD Empire has added a special section for HD DVD movies aimed at consumers who are looking to make the early leap into next generation technology.

Adult DVD Empire has launched its new HD DVD section with the release of “Camp Cuddly Pines Powertool Massacre,” the first title shot in the new format by Wicked Pictures.

Adult DVD Empire Editorial Director Shannon T. Nutt said consumers would be able to see the increase in quality when viewing the film in HD DVD.

“The difference between the standard DVD and HD DVD versions are like night and day,” Nutt said. “Anyone who owns an HD DVD player and high definition TV are going to be blown away by the clarity of the ‘Camp Cuddly’ HD DVD. It's hard to go back to standard definition once you've watched porn in high-def.”

To feed what Adult DVD Empire expects will be a growing consumer appetite for HD DVD titles, the company has listed several Digital Playground titles on its site, which are available for pre-order.

The titles include “Pirates,” “Island Fever 4,” “Island Fever 3,” and “Jack’s Teen America: Mission #3.”

To educate consumers on the new format, Adult DVD Empire also has included a technology Q&A on the site.
