2015 AEVC Event Dates, Details Announced

VANCOUVER — RedLightCenter.com and parent Utherverse have announced preliminary plans for the upcoming Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention, set for Feb. 25-28, 2015.

AEVC is a groundbreaking annual consumer and trade event that takes place online within the virtual realm, providing a range of sexy sessions as well as opportunities for participants and sponsors.

According to Utherverse CEO Brian Shuster, attendance at the annual AEVC has surpassed expectations every year, with the next event having a few new twists to keep it fresh.

“Last year we had more than 18,000 visitors come through our virtual doors,” Shuster told XBIZ. “This year, our show will be held on a much more advanced and sophisticated platform than previous years, and we will be Oculus compatible!”

“Consequently, the theme of this year’s show is going to be focused on the latest in adult technology and Virtual Reality,” Shuster says. “We anticipate doubling our attendance yet again, while still offering quality content that you would expect from any live trade show event.”

Among the highlights of the 2015 AEVC are the Keynote speech by Fleshlight’s Brian Shubin, hosted by Wasteland’s Colin Rowntree.

The event will also feature special guest appearances by adult superstars Lexi Belle and Tera Patrick, among others.

In lieu of a traditional “State of the Industry” panel, the upcoming AEVC will feature an “Industry Town Hall” session, hosted by XBIZ CEO Alec Helmy, along with a panel of experts comprising all areas of the adult entertainment industry. Questions will be collected starting in early February from a special discussion thread on the XBIZ.net professional network, with the questions answered live on stage during the AEVC event.

Utherverse and RedLightCenter.com will present a special session at XBIZ 360 where attendees will be able to experience its new immersive Virtual Reality platform while getting the opportunity to try out the Oculus Rift first hand.

Nominations for the 2015 AEVC Awards is now open, until Feb. 4, 2015.
