The Global Video Factory Opens for Business

SLAGELSE, Denmark — The Adult Content Network Group has launched The Global Video Factory, a DVD distribution company formed to give Scandinavian production companies better access to European and other markets.

Jorn Nielsen, who heads up The Global Video Factory, said the company plans to sell DVDs only to registered retailers and wholesalers throughout the continent.

The company grew out of demand from local producers who were seeking improved DVD distribution options, Nielsen said.

“We have so many videos and have been asked many times if we also have a distribution for videos in Europe by our producers,” Nielsen said. “Therefore, it was just a matter of time and man power to get into distribution for our adult content.”

While Nielsen said the primary focus would be on representing local production houses of all sizes, he added that foreign producers also were welcome to retain the company’s European distribution services.

In the meantime, The Global Video Factory’s sister company, Great Sex Content, a subsidiary of The European Photo Press Content Network, has been nominated for an XBIZ Award.

“We are really honored and have to thank all of our customers and friends for the nomination,” Nielsen said. “The nomination for the XBIZ Awards, one of the most important adult industry awards, shows us that we are doing our job in the right way, it shows us how much confidence our customers put into us over these years.”
