LOS ANGELES — James Deen’s “7 Sins” saga — his erotic seven-part series depicting all of the Seven Deadly Sins: Greed, Envy, Pride, Lust, Wrath, Gluttony and Sloth, has reached completion.
Spanning seven films and one year, the project that has been the centerpiece of his website, JamesDeen.com, is coming to a close, with “Sloth” premiering online this week and “Wrath's” final touches underway in the editing room.
The “7 Sins” project has sought to re-invent the standards of high production in adult film, as well as bridge the gap and create content that appeals to men and women equally.
"I had the most interesting experience on those sets; the concepts are something I've never seen in porn before, and the way that they were executed was just perfect in ways that I would never be able to imagine,” said Janice Griffith, who performed in “Greed” and “Wrath.” “I'm honored to have been a part of this project."
Each of the films has its own distinct aesthetic and narrative flow to match the tone of the featured sin. The complete “7 Sins” series is available exclusively through JamesDeen.com, which also features hundreds of other videos directed by Deen.
With “7 Sins” in the can, Deen is already looking forward. “I can't wait till creativity hits me again and I can work on another project of this magnitude,” he said.
