NEW YORK — Adult retailer The Pleasure Chest will transform its Upper East Side location into an “Anal August State Fairground” on Saturday, Aug. 30, as part of its Sleazy Saturday event series.
A twist on a traditional state fair, the event will feature original games like Bobbing for Butt Plugs, Pin the P-spot Massager on the Man and Anal Ring Toss. Representatives from Fun Factory will be in attendance, handing out prizes to the winners of their Stronic pulsator races. Guests can also visit the resident fortune teller, Queen Be, or check out the models at the Sexy Ass Petting Zoo.
Honoring beloved state fair food, The Pleasure Chest will serve butt-shaped cupcakes and treats from The Crazy Baker, along with free champagne. While the fairgoers eat, they can enjoy the musical stylings of Coyote & Crow and get a naughty balloon animal from “funny man” John Murdock.
And there will be prizes: through Aug. 29, any in-store purchase (at either of The Pleasure Chest’s New York locations) of any anal toy and/or Uberlube gets you an entry into a raffle for the Big Ass Prize filled with toys from some of the industry’s top vendors. You must be present at the State Fairground to win the prize.
“Every year, we celebrate Anal August with workshops and events designed to promote education and enthusiasm around a sexual act that’s surrounded by stigma and misinformation,” commented Kristen Tribby, the Pleasure Chest’s director of creative development and strategy. “Now that we have this spacious location on the Upper East Side, it’s time to kick it up a notch.”
