LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures announced that it has received 18 NightMoves Awards nominations.
More than half of the nominations went to veteran contract performer, writer and filmmaker Stormy Daniels and director Axel Braun.
Daniels was recognized in the Best Female Performer category, along with a Best Director (Features) nomination. Specific Best Feature Production nominations went to her film, “Switch” and “Crime of Passion.”
Daniels also grabbed a Best Feature Dancer (Adult Performer) nomination.
Braun earned five nominations included acknowledgement in the Best Director (Parody) category, while individual Best Parody nominations went to his “24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," his first production for the new “Wicked Fairy Tales” line, and NightMoves Editor's Choice for “Snow White XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.”
The director also received noms for Best All-Sex Release nomination for “Riley Goes Gonzo," while “I Fucked My Stepmom” earned recognition in the Best Cougar/MILF Release category.
Wicked director Brad Armstrong also received noms for Best Director (Features), while his film, “Underworld” was honored with a Best Feature Production nomination.
Other nominations went to Jessica Drake for her “Guide to Wicked Sex” for Best On-Going Series, and Wicked Girl Samantha Saint received a nomination for Best Feature Dancer (Adult Performer).
Adult star Asa Akira earned a Best Female Performer nomination.
Two additional Wicked releases, “Mother's Day #2” and “The Best In XXX,” were nominated in the Best Cougar/MILF Release and Best All Sex Release categories, respectively.
The studio also received a Best Company nomination. "I am very happy to see so many of our directors and contract stars nominated for such a wide range of projects. We strive to create the best movies possible and appreciate NightMoves for noticing,” Wicked owner Steve Orenstein said.
