CNN to Air Four-Part Series on Pornography

NEW YORK — CNN Headline News personality Glenn Beck will air a four-part series on adult entertainment. “Porn: America’s Addiction” is scheduled for Oct. 16-19 on the cable news channel.

In part one of the series, Beck examines the addictive aspects of adult entertainment, with an emphasis on Internet pornography.

“On Monday, Glenn profiles how a man and his wife dealt with his porn addiction,” CNN announced on its website.

In a preview of part one, Beck interviews Sex Recovery Institute Director Robert Weiss, who calls “Internet porn the crack cocaine of sex addiction.”

Part two of the series focuses on the business aspects of the multibillion-dollar industry with an interview featuring AVN President Paul Fishbein. Part three looks at how adult entertainment drives technology.

Part four of the series focuses on a former female performer who left the adult business and now counsels others coping with the negative effects of pornography. The final segment also looks at how adult entertainment “blurs sexual issues for teenagers,” according to a report on RealityTVWebsite.com.

“Glenn Beck” airs daily at 7 p.m. (EST) and replays at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. (EST).
