MACC Names Major Sponsors

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The organizers of the second Mobile Adult Content Congress have named 724 Solutions and Mobile Guardian as major sponsors of the event.

Dan Garza of Black Marlin Multimedia Group, which organized the show, said that securing support from 724 Solutions and Mobile Guardian is critical to building on the success of the inaugural show held in Miami, Fla., because both companies emphasize keeping children safe from mobile adult content.

“The participation of these industry leaders underscores that a major focus of this event is on access control and child protection,” Garza said. “Billion dollar opportunities are expected in this space, and responsible delivery is paramount.”

According to organizer Larry Lockhart of Black Marlin, the second MACC conference will further cement the event’s reputation as a meeting ground between the adult entertainment industry and the telecommunications industry.

“We had over 125 top-level executives from around the world at the first event in Miami,” Lockhart said. “People saw this was not a pornographic showplace, but a professional meeting of industry executives from the adult and telecom business sectors to discuss opportunities and how, if they choose, to proceed responsibly.”

Show topics will include:

  • Access, Control and Filtering
  • Defining Adult Content and Classification
  • The Role of the Operator, MVNO and Aggregator
  • Successful Business Models for Commerce and Distribution
  • How Webmasters can Mobilize
  • Regulatory and Legal Issues / Self Regulation
  • Current and Projected Future Revenue and Pricing
  • Licensing and Branding
  • On-Deck vs. Off-Deck
  • Balancing Risk vs. Reward
  • Revenue Sharing and Billing
  • The MACC conference will be held Oct. 10-12 at the Siena Hotel Resort and Casino in Reno, Nev.

Exhibits will be located in the main conference hall.
