ForTheGirls Celebrates Birthday, Names Contest Winner

BRISBANE, Australia — Women’s erotic website ForTheGirls.com has capped off its third birthday celebration with its second annual erotic fiction competition, naming one winner from an entry pool that included more than 50 entries.

The site, which is the flagship enterprise of the Purple Dollars affiliate program, targets female users with a collection of movies, pictures, articles, columns, sex advice and erotic fiction.

To celebrate its third year in business, ForTheGirls decided to throw open its erotic fiction section to user-written submissions on a topic that site operators say is of critical importance to readers: Cunnilingus.

“This is our second year of running an erotic fiction competition,” site webmaster Karen Jones said. “This time around, we made cunnilingus the theme because it’s a sex act that often gets short shrift in the adult industry. Many sex surveys have revealed that women love receiving cunnilingus, and we wanted to offer our members stories where that form of female pleasure is given priority.”

The winning entry, “Teaching Teresa,” depicts a woman’s first oral sex experience. According to the site judges, the author approached the subject matter with a mixture of “humor, romance and emotion,” making the story something that female readers could easily relate to.

“It’s great to see so many people endeavoring to offer an authentic female perspective on sex,” Jones said. “That’s essentially what ForTheGirls is all about, giving women their own voice within the context of sexually explicit material.”

In addition to the one winning story, the judges selected second and third-place winners, plus 10 “honorable mention” stories. All winners received cash prizes plus a month’s membership to the site. All 13 stories were published on the site.
