Adultcon Moves to Bigger Space

LOS ANGELES — After 10 shows, Adultcon got too big for its britches. For its upcoming adult fan show set to take place on Sept. 23 and 24, the exhibition has moved to a different hall within the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Outgrowing its previous 20,000 square-foot hall location, Adultcon’s growth necessitated a move to the West Hall, which features 40-foot high ceilings and 65,000 square feet of meeting space.

This year marks the 10th anniversary for the bi-annual consumer show, which is expected to attract thousands of fans.

According to show organizers, this is the first announcement in a string of moves that are planned to expand and build upon the first 10 shows. Live entertainment will be part of this year’s show, also a first.

Booth space is available to exhibitors that start at $750 for the two-day show, which includes insurance and cleaning. Talent booths also are available for $150, and can be split among several performers.

For fans, Adultcon will continue its policy of admitting fans for free on Sunday, with the purchase of a ticket for Saturday. The $35 admission fee includes a two-day admission pass, a $5 Adultcon casino chip to spend at the show, an Adultcon calendar, an embroidered shirt or cap, plus free Pink Visual DVDs.

The official Adultcon post-party will be held at the Rio Gentlemen’s Club following both nights of the convention.
