Gamma Entertainment Acquires Pride Studios

MONTREAL — Gamma Entertainment’s Buddy Profits affiliate program announced today that it has acquired all assets of Pride Studios.

Pride Studios, founded in 2002, will continue to produce new weekly content updates for its current portfolio of websites including: ExtraBigDicks.com, MenOver30.com, CircleJerkBoys.com, 1GayPass.com and BoyzParty.com. The websites will be integrated under the Buddy Profits program.

“Pride Studios was among the early pioneers in the online gay adult market, and have built and sustained a prodigious reputation in the industry and gay community. Here at Buddy Profits, we happen to share a similar value and passion for leadership in gay adult entertainment, and therefore, it is with great pleasure that we now can count Pride Studios as one of our assets,” Stephan Sirard, President of Buddy Profits said.

The acquisition of Pride Studios will increase the Buddy Profits’ affiliate network to a total of 40 websites.

“From the very beginning, we have been committed to offering the finest quality content delivered with great attention to detail. Buddy Profits, and its dedication to excellence, represent the ideal team to carry on our legacy and will without a doubt, continue to raise the bar for the highest standards in gay entertainment,” Harlan Yaffe, co-founder of Pride Studios added.

“When we created Pride Studios so many years ago we wanted to build a program that we would be excited to promote with a strong outreach to affiliates,” explained Joe Sterner, co-founder of Pride Studios. “Now that the time has come for David, Harlan and I to move on, it is so reassuring that the Buddy Profits team shares this focus and we have no doubt that they will be great stewards of the Pride Studios brand.”

Hector Camacho, Buddy Profits’ director of product and development said the company was excited to add such diverse products to its current line of membership sites and program.

“This acquisition will help us continue offering a wide selection of premium quality products to our consumers, and further strengthens our position as a global leader in the gay adult market. We expect to redesign and re-launch five of the sites in order to improve user experience, site functionality and affiliate conversions — all while maintaining the essence of the sites as they each exist today,” Camacho said.
