SEATTLE — Adult app manufacturer Mikandi says it altered its recently released Tits & Glass app for Google Glass to comply with its new policy barring porn from the device; however, the app remains banned.
“We've made the necessary changes to comply with the policies but just found out that our Glass user account API limit was set to 0,” Mikandi Co-Founder Jen McEwen told XBIZ. “We called Google to see if this meant that our account was completely blocked, but they refused to give us a clear answer.”
According to the MiKandi blog, an API of 0, in “non-nerd speak,” means that they cannot push anymore updates.
MiKandi CEO Jesse Adams reiterated the company’s wish to “play within Google’s terms” and help develop the fledgling device.
“We just think sexy glasses deserve sexy content,” Adams said. “We’re eagerly waiting to hear back from Google in regards to the status of our account.”
