Hot House and Maleflixxx Announce Exclusive Partnership

SAN FRANCISCO — Producer of all-male adult videos Hot House Entertainment has entered into an exclusive agreement with Maleflixxx to provide the gay video-on-demand company with content that will only be available on its Sureflix Digital Distribution Network.

Sureflix owns and operates the Maleflixxx global pay-per-view websites, including flagship site Maleflixxx.tv and the gay erotic TV channel in Canada, Maleflixxx TV. Sureflix represents many gay production studios in worldwide TV markets, as well as Internet VOD.

In the next few months, Maleflixxx will be exclusively premiering several new titles from Hot House on its network. Helmed by Steven Scarborough, Hot House features four video lines — Hot House Video, Plain Wrapped Video, Club Inferno — and its new gangbang label, Pack Attack Video. The company’s content spans different genres — from military men to bodybuilder types to West Coast surfer boys.

“We are excited to welcome Hot House Entertainment to our family of exclusive studios,” Eric Johnson, president of Sureflix Digital Distribution, said. “Known for its quality edgy content, the Hot House catalog is proof of our commitment to providing our viewers with the ultimate gay adult entertainment experience.”

While Hot House has partnered with Maleflixxx before, the exclusive agreement covers all future content from the studio. Additionally, Hot House’s Vice President and Creative Director Brent Smith told XBIZ that the studio is planning concurrent online VOD distribution with its wholesale release dates, so new movies will be available through VOD the day they hit store shelves.

“We’ve been partners for many years now and the result of this time together is a deep, trusting relationship with Maleflixxx team members which cannot be quantified,” Smith said. “Maleflixxx does an outstanding job of promoting their exclusive studios by giving them prime placement within their sites and frequent advertising campaigns. Obviously, we wanted Hot House to benefit from that extra exposure.”

Hot House currently uses Sureflix’s proprietary encoding and streaming technology for its white label VOD studio.

“New technologies are difficult for every company to follow, regardless of the product they produce,” Smith said. “It’s a relief to turn over this part of our business model to the people who really understand these emerging digital technologies so we can focus on what we do best — making hot movies.”

Hot House has been in business for 13 years, and has released approximately 60 movies. The studio releases one movie per month.
