Theater 7.0 includes a "theater builder,” which streamlines the process that affiliates perform when creating a custom theater, and a download-to-own option for rentals.
The new version also introduces support for premium content pricing and multiple currency billing that allows for payment in several non-American currencies.
Customers can now use several additional interfaces built in, like detailed category searches and customizable modules where content can be arranged by series and porn star.
AEBN President Scott Coffman said that the new version — its sixth in six years — is a momentous step for the company.
“As the video-on-demand market matures and our library of content increases, it is our goal to offer more options for watching, searching and paying for content," Coffman said. "[The new version] will improve our customer experience and increase our affiliates opportunities to generate more revenue."
AEBN, also known as Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network, is one of the largest Internet video-on-demand sites.
