Now Accepting Bitcoin for Memberships

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Alt and goth website has announced that it is now accepting Bitcoin crypto-currency as payment for memberships.

One Bitcoin gets a full year mega-pass membership to and its associated sites. In addition to photo sets of goth and alt girls, the mega-pass gives access to vampire and science fiction cosplay shoots, fiction and real life counterculture couples' shoots.

As a special promotion, the first 100 people to use Bitcoin to join the site will receive a bonus T-shirt commemorating the adoption of the technology. The company noted that the Bitcoin system is completely anonymous and members are only required to submit an email address to receive a password confirmation.

In addition to being optimized for all standard browsers, also works with the anonymizing Tor Browser Bundle configuration.

"I am really excited about accepting BTC for membership. I'm fascinated by the apolitical technological genesis of Bitcoin and, from the cantina scene in ‘Star Wars’ to the brand name future of Neuromancer, I'm inspired by the possible and excited by innovation," BlueBlood founder Amelia G said.

The site's team noted that it loves technology, innovation, and publishing. Coming out of the desktop publishing revolution that powered the independent zine movement, the company transitioned to the web in the mid-‘90's, launching its alt-culture adult membership sites in 1999. The creators said its affiliate program was the first to implement affiliate-coded RSS syndication, including plug-ins for popular blogging platforms like WordPress.

BlueBlood's properties include a variety of publications in both print and digital media, and the BlueBlood Boutique with its signature line of apparel and accessories.
