Classic 'Deep Throat' Mobile Website Launches

VAN NUYS, Calif. — TopBucks Mobile Services has teamed up with Deep Throat Digital, authorized licensor for Arrow Productions, to announce the launch of DeepThroatMobile.net, a new mobile site that offers scenes from the original "Deep Throat" film and its five sequels.

“'Deep Throat' is the most popular classic porno film of all time," Deep Throat Digital management said. “The original movie outsold every mainstream movie in Hollywood until the release of 'Jaws.' The 'Deep Throat' film, featuring Linda Lovelace and Harry Rheems impacted the popular culture and its view of the importance of the woman’s satisfaction being depicted in mass media.”

“The original release of 'Deep Throat' marked a watershed moment in the industry’s history, while mobile distribution represents the present and future of the industry,” said Liam Colins, director of business development for TopBucks Mobile Services.

He added, “From the perspective of TBMS, it’s great to see our technology applied to introducing a whole new generation of adult entertainment fans to a true classic.”

The service is priced at $12.99 for one-month access (non-recurring), $6.99 per month on a recurring basis and $14.99 for a three-month membership.

Colins noted that the offering represents a cost-effective means of exploring the "Deep Throat" series for new viewers.

“Buying the full series on DVD will run you around $175,” Colins said. “That’s fine for collectors and avid fans, but for consumers who have never seen the original or its sequels, paying seven bucks for a month-long Deep Throat ‘test drive’ is probably a more sensible and appealing option.”

DeepThroatMobile.net will soon be available for promotion by TopBucks Mobile webmasters, Colins said, giving affiliates who promote classic porn a means of exploring the mobile market.

For Arrow Productions and Deep Throat Digital, the partnership with Pink Visual for mobile distribution of the "Deep Throat" series of films was a natural fit. The companies said the deal complements a multi-channel portfolio of desktop and mobile web sites, new outlets for DVD sales and the creation of new original works using Pink Visual's library of brands and content products.
