Standard Innovation Names New Marketing VP, Customer Service Team Leader

OTTAWA — Standard Innovation Corporation, the manufacturer of the We-Vibe family of sexual wellness products, has announced the appointment of Lorraine Byerley to Vice President, Marketing, and the promotion of Amanda Leighton to Team Lead Customer Service.

Prior to joining Standard Innovation, Byerley held senior marketing, online marketing and corporate communications positions with Alcatel, Alcatel-Lucent and DY 4 Systems. She brings more than 15 years of international experience to her role leading Standard Innovation’s global marketing and communications strategy.

“As worldwide demand for the We-Vibe brand of couples-focused and solo-use intimate massagers continues to grow, the Company adds talent in lock step,” Standard Innovation CEO Danny Osadca said. “I worked with Lorraine at DY 4 and know that her management style and broad-based marketing expertise will greatly benefit the company.

“Likewise, it’s been my pleasure to work with Amanda during her tenure with Standard Innovation. Not only has Amanda been instrumental in building our world-class customer service program, she has demonstrated strong leadership skills. Amanda’s promotion also demonstrates our commitment to developing our internal talent.”

Byerley is a member of the management team reporting to Osadca. She holds a Masters of Environmental Design from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.

Leighton has a background in commerce and business systems. Since joining Standard Innovation’s customer service team in December of 2010, she has helped to develop first-rate systems and processes to support Standard Innovation’s channel partners, the company said.
