The highlight of the event was the LSAwards ceremony hosted by JBlasta, which honored the Best Webmaster and Best Solo Girl Performer. Each winner received a $100,000 prize.
The best live performer award went to 23-year old blonde Buffy from LiveJasmin.com. The seven other candidates in the field also were awarded $5,000 each. Started only one year ago, the Best Webmaster Grand Prize went to BabesMachine.com.
The awards presentation began with a screening of a short film showing each of the live performer nominees in action. The eight finalists were chosen from a pool of 1,327 eligible entries.
On the second day of the show, discussions and presentations were held where performers, webmasters and studio owners could discuss business and network.
“We strongly believe that creating an ideal and intriguing atmosphere for effective networking is an essential part of organizing such an event,” Event Manager Mickey Bojcsik said.
Show attendees included representatives from WebcamCash, Cybersocket, OCCash, PasswordByPhone and TheBestPorn.com. XBIZ was named a media sponsor of the event.
Future shows will expand on award categories, Bojcsik said.
“I think it is safe to say that there’s a webmaster show almost every other week,” Bojcsik said. “While the networking and branding value of these shows is not to be underestimated, we felt the need to create a setting that complements the needs of the adult web’s most rapidly growing industry, the live sex industry. LSAwards has many objectives, all geared towards improving and strengthening the relations between the live sex industry near and far.”
