MONTREAL — Adult Time has announced that production has wrapped on the post-apocalyptic drama, "The Doctrine," directed by multi-XMAs winner Seth Gamble.
The story is set three years after the collapse of civilization and centers on four brothers who operate the last secure compound for miles.
“Bound by a philosophy inherited from their father, the brothers believe humanity’s future depends on carefully rebuilding the next generation,” the synopsis reveals. “When a group of women arrives seeking safety, they are welcomed into the compound under one condition: survival comes with expectations, and each newcomer must decide whether protection is worth accepting the role the brothers believe destiny has assigned them.”
Gamble enthused about the project.
“‘The Doctrine’ is one of the films I’m most proud of as a director,” he said. “What drew me to this story was how deeply human it feels beneath the apocalyptic setting — every character is fighting to survive while trying to hold onto who they are. The cast and crew brought an incredible level of honesty, intensity, and emotional depth to every scene, and together we created something far bigger than I could have imagined. I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
