ShagaGamer.com Launches for Gamers to Score

LONDON — DateaGamer.co.uk, an online dating site for gaming enthusiasts, has launched ShagaGamer.com, a new sister site designed to help gamers score outside of their consoles and computers.

Founder Tom Thurlow conceived the new site after noticing that many members of his DateaGamer website were not looking for an endless love, but rather someone to bed in between "Call of Duty" and "Diablo" sessions.

“Since its launch earlier in the year, DateaGamer.co.uk has grown more quickly than we ever anticipated," Thurlow explained. "Over the past few months we noticed that instead of looking for love, many of the members were using the site purely to meet up for sex.

"It’s not something we were expecting, but obviously gamers get urges too. With [ShagaGamer.com], they have a space where they can do this more openly in an arena they are comfortable in — online.”

ShagaGamer.com, launched on July 13, is powered by Adult.WhiteLabelDating.com, an award-winning software and services provider owned by Global Personals Ltd.

The site features "a number of mechanisms designed to keep members as safe as possible, such as tips on how to stay safe online, moderation and fraud teams to keep scammers at bay and a customer care team to help with any member queries."
