OAKLAND, Calif. — Feelmore510 has been nominated in the category of Retailer of the Year-Boutique at the XBIZ Awards.
Feelmore510 opened in February of 2011 to much community support in a city that did not have its own progressive adult retail store front.
But it was Feelmore510’s owner, Nenna Joiner, who wanted to open this type of business.
“It was a challenge although I do find it being slightly different from any other business model,” Joiner said.
“There was much apprehension because I had no resources to rely for a solid understanding on the challenge that was before me. I have made allies since being in the business and am glad that I did not have anyone telling me all of the downs of this business.”
The XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
