Naughty Cities Gets iTunes Approval

LONDON — The Naughty Cities app just received approval for the iTunes store, just one month after Android picked it up in its app store.

News of an adult-oriented app gaining approval from Apple is remarkable because there are so few that have gotten the green light due to a no-porn policy at the iTunes App Store.

Naughty Cities' free app provides listings for adult categories by city, which currently includes London and New York, and includes geo-targeted advertising.

Once installed, the app offers an array of categories to choose from, including strip clubs, swing clubs, escorts, erotic massage, sex shops, gay and fetish, as well as casinos, strip clubs and restaurants. Further links offer photos, videos and maps to some of the listings.

The app was developed by Antonis Argyros of Naughty Labs.

"Our plan is to have a new city added every month," Argyros told XBIZ. "Next city to come is Berlin and then Los Angeles."

Only a handful of adult apps have had a presence at the iTunes App Store, including the OhMiBod Remote, a personal massager interface, and several nongraphic sexual position and game apps.
