CommerceGate, Video Secrets to Host XBIZ LA Mix & Match

LOS ANGELES —Video Secrets and CommerceGate have partnered up to host the Mix & Match Welcome Reception at the Sofitel Hotel’s Stone Rose Lounge on Feb. 7 from 5-7 p.m. during XBIZ LA.

The event will be uniquely tailored to allow each guest to find and match up with show attendees that will fit their needs. Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and a relaxed networking setting.

Guests attending the Mix & Match Welcome Reception will receive a colored ribbon upon entry to attach to their XBIZ LA show badge that identifies what category they fall in. “For instance, if you are an affiliate, by placing your designated ribbon on during the event, guests who are seeking business opportunities with affiliates can now easily identify you, even if you have never met before,” the company said.

“The Mix & Match Welcome Reception will be a perfect way to kick off the XBIZ LA Conference,” said Brad Estes, manager of operations for Video Secrets. “We wanted a networking event that went beyond just a reception, and we think this will bring together people that may never have known they could do business. We hope to increase each guest’s relationship and business building opportunities.”

Cathy Beardsley, partner and senior vice president of sales and marketing for CommerceGate.com, agreed and added that the CommerceGate team is, “looking forward to the XBIZ LA show, and providing attendees greater value with our networking focused event. With so many changes and new faces in the industry, this will be great way to bring people together and generate openings for prospective business.”
