Gamma Earns 14 XBIZ Award Noms

MONTREAL — Gamma Entertainment has received a total of 14 XBIZ Award nominations, including six for the network’s affiliate programs.

“It is fantastic to be recognized so highly by our peers,” Gamma President Karl Bernard said.

“Being nominated in all these different categories signifies the extent to which our company has grown in the past year.”

The 14 nominations include Affiliate Program of the Year — Multi-Platform for Gammae.com, Porn Star and Studio Affiliate Programs of the Year for FameDollars.com, Gay Affiliate Program of the Year for BuddyProfits.com and Live Cam Company of the Year for LiveBucks.com.

Sites within the Gamma network, including EvilAngel.com, COLTStudiosGroup.com, FalconStudios.com and CodyCummings.com were also nominated in their respective categories.

The 2011 awards season marks a new high for Gamma, who had previously been nominated for three awards in 2010. Next Door Buddy Profits took home the 2010 award for GLBT Web Company of the Year.

BlazingBucks and Gamma Entertainment officially announced their strategic partnership this month.

“In today’s business climate, all signs of growth are a positive indication,” Bernard said.

“To go from a few nods last year to over a dozen this year is very encouraging for Gamma and our partners. I am especially proud of our teams for their continued hard work and creativity. These nominations directly reflect Gamma’s values as both a business and a company.”
