Fleshlight Settles Infringement Suit With Spencer’s Gifts

AUSTIN, Texas — Sex toy manufacturer Interactive Life Forms, the maker of Fleshlight, today announced it has settled with Spencer’s Gifts, one of the defendants named in the Fleshlight patent infringement case filed last summer.

In the settlement agreement, Spencer’s has agreed to cease sales of the Tenga Flip Hole.

“We are happy to have come to terms with yet another defendant in this case,” said Brian Shubin, Fleshlight’s executive vice president.

“Now that we have come to an agreement with Spencer’s we have successfully settled with virtually all of the 27 defendants named in this lawsuit, all of which have agreed to either stopping the importation/sales of the infringing product or to pay a royalty.”

Interactive Life Forms had filed patent infringement complaints against 25 companies to stop sales of sex toys in the U.S. that use its technology.

In the suit, Interactive Life Forms claimed the companies were selling products that were likely to cause confusion, mistake and deceive the public as to the identity of the company’s goods, causing irreparable harm.
