Pink Visual Creates RTA PSA for ASACP

LOS ANGELES — The ASACP has released a new public service announcement for the Restricted to Adults website label, featuring Pink Visual President Allison Vivas.

The PSA features Vivas reminding companies to protect children and to protect their business by labeling with RTA and is available for viewing on YouTube.com/ASACPRTA.

Pink Visual voluntarily produced the video for ASACP, shooting and editing the clip in-house.

Previous PSA’s encouraged parents to enable parental filtering to protect their children from viewing age-restricted content. The new PSA is part of a campaign featuring industry business leaders reminding companies about the benefits of labeling with the RTA label.

This campaign previously featured a print advertisement with Michael Klein, president of Larry Flynt Publications and Hustler as well as an international outreach effort with Mickey Bojcsik of Adult Webmaster Empire.

“I am very grateful to Allison Vivas and Pink Visual for producing this PSA for RTA,” ASACP CEO Joan Irvine said.

“They have supported ASACP and its online child protection since 2002; in fact, they are a founding sponsor," she said.

“One of ASACP’s goals is to educate people about what they can do to help in this effort and a PSA such as the one Pink Visual produced is a great tool. Allison is a well respected executive who directs a company that is always on the cutting edge of technology," Irvine added.

“As a longtime supporter of ASACP and its RTA program, Pink Visual felt that this PSA would highlight the association’s child protection efforts while encouraging other companies to adopt the technology,” Vivas said.

“Proactive industry self-regulation, such as the use of RTA labels, demonstrates that responsible adult companies can work together to do the right thing.”

This latest PSA highlights the release of RTA labeling for adult mobile apps.

“Pink Visual was one of the first companies to develop mobile applications,” Irvine said. “This is why we knew that it was imperative to launch the new RTA label/filter for Android mobile apps with Allison in the PSA.”
