Wicked to Launch Parody, Seeks Talent at 'Rocky Horror' Convention

LOS ANGELES — The Wicked Girls will be hosting the 35th anniversary celebration of the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” Sept. 23-25 and holding an open talent call for extras in the Brad Armstrong parody, “The Rocki Whore Picture Show.”

The three-day convention will take place at The Standard hotel in downtown Los Angeles and includes stars Jessica Drake, Kirsten Price, Alektra Blue and Kaylani Lei.

Show organizers said the event will commemorate the cult classic’s original 1975 release and will include “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Shock Treatment” screenings, memorabilia vendors, a costume pageant, The Rocky Prom, cast performances, autograph sessions and more.

In addition to the talent search for extras to perform in the XXX parody, Wicked will be offering a chance for one contestant to appear in the production's massive Time Warp Orgy, that is slated to feature more than 12 performers.

In addition to the Wicked Girls, noted actor Barry Bostwick (Spin City) who played Brad Majors in the original movie, and some of the stars of the official sequel “Shock Treatment” will also be on hand to meet the fans, answer questions and sign autographs.

Event organizer Bernie Bregman of SinsCon said, "The SinsCon team is extremely excited about our partnership with Wicked Pictures. We feel their cutting edge attitude and attention to detail are representative of many important aspects of the Rocky Horror philosophy and they will definitely bring an added Hollywood atmosphere and sex appeal to what will already be a great weekend of exciting events."
