Eric Matis to Leave Playboy Enterprises

CHICAGO — Eric Matis, Playboy’s vice president of industrial relations, will be stepping down from his position effective May 28 to pursue other interests.

“The opportunities and experiences that I have had over the years have been second to none, and many of them I will carry with me for a lifetime,” Matis said.

“The number of people that I would like to thank is endless, and I look forward to maintaining all of the relationships I have made inside of the company over the past several years.”

Matis said that Playboy will retain his services on a consultant basis to help manage and maintain GFY, as well as continue to manage GFY’s advertising client list.

In addition, Matis said has also been retained for consulting and sponsorship sales for this year’s Webmaster Access Amsterdam.

“After 14 years in the business I have no intentions of leaving, and am looking forward to seeing the industry’s continued turn around in the coming years. I am also looking forward to seeing everyone at upcoming events such as XBIZ Summer Forum,” he said.
