SAN JOSE, Calif. — LELO, a designer brand of intimate products, offers elegant, non-graphic-looking sex toys that have captured the attention of mainstream publications.

Elle magazine advice columnist E. Jean Carroll said of LELO products: “These little beauties are so lovely, you won’t know whether to hang them on the wall as art or build an altar for them as the greatest tech breakthrough since wall sockets.”

Details magazine’s Editor-at-Large Jeff Gordinier called LELO pleasure objects “deluxe and aesthetically gorgeous.”

The company recently announced that Dr. Andrew Scheinfeld, an OB/GYN in New York, is offering LELO products in his office.

"Sex is like any other biological function,” Scheinfeld said. “We have to get away from the associations with pornography. This is a health product."
