Live Mobile Video With Chat Service Launched

SAN FRANCISCO — Mobile video application developer Mobile Streaming Solutions launched a new video streaming application this week webmasters can use to stream video content to mobile devices, while at the same time offering mobile users two-way text chat capabilities while they watch.

According to Jay at MSS, the new application transcodes and streams existing live web cam streams, giving webmasters an added service to offer consumers that installs easily without costly infrastructure overhauls.

“Our live mobile video streaming with two-way text chat application can take content from any live web cam, process the stream on-the-fly and send it to a mobile phone in real time, all over the world,” Jay said.

With the added chat services, Jay said webmasters could tout the chance for users to establish deeper connection with the online models they view.

“As part of the user experience, the person at the web cam and the mobile phone user can chat with each in real-time for personal relationships,” Jay said.

The company also has developed a mobile player that supports dynamic play lists, which lets users scroll through new content as it changes on a host’s site.

“MSS can add value to [any] existing web cam service,” Jay said.
