WhoPaidMe.com Revamps Services

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Adult webmaster resource site WhoPaidMe.com has expanded the scope of its tools and services with a recent upgrade to version 2.0

News of the site's latest enhancements broke on community forum GFY, where webmasters expressed praise for the innovation delivered by this new offering; which builds upon the traditional service of identifying the source of "mystery" affiliate checks, to offer (among other things) combined review scores for every site and sponsor in partnership with 40 of the biggest review sites, which have provided more than 43,000 review scores in total.

According to the company, the site's database-driven features allow for great flexibility in how data is filtered and presented; for example, a search of the latest adult website launches can be refined to show only those launches within a certain niche, and that use a certain backend platform such as CCBill, and are limited to solo-girl content. Another example would be to list the most popular sites based upon their Alexa rating or overall review score and that use MPA3 or NATS — and all of this data can be pulled using custom RSS feeds.

To balance out the various ways in which the individual review sites score their reviews (which are also displayed to users), a weighted algorithm is used to determine the true "average" rating of a given website — an answer to the concerns of those who feel that "review sites just give everyone positive reviews."

"After importing over 40,000 review scores, we found the average and median score to be about 78 percent," stated a company rep. "So we did what a college professor might do when he found that his or her class did a little too well on the mid-term, and we put the scores on a curve, and we did this individually for each review site. The result is a rating out of 5 stars."

"In other words," the rep added, "a score of 85 percent means more coming from a review site that normally only gives an average of 70 percent as opposed to coming from a review site that usually gives a much more generous 80 percent."

The majority of sites on WhoPaidMe reportedly average three stars, with around 20 percent receiving four to five stars.

"These are sites that truly have received exceptional reviews," the rep concluded. "Sadly, some sites will only receive one or two stars, but this only fair, because they received below average reviews, and this isn't Lake Wobegon."
