Webmaster Access LA: Day 1 Report

LOS ANGELES — Webmaster Access welcomed online adult professionals today with leisurely activities perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon.

The three-day business-to-business event offering seminars, special events and networking opportunities for webmasters of straight and gay-interest websites is taking place at the Universal Hotel in Universal City, Calif.

Webmaster Access L.A. will conclude on Tuesday with a bash at the famous Playboy mansion and a XBIZ-sponsored BBQ to fuel attendees before the big blowout.

Returning Webmaster Access attendees enjoyed the pleasant L.A. warm, summer-like weather — a switch from the breezy fall temperature of the WAW past.

“We’ve moved our Webmaster Access L.A. show from November to May,” Riley told XBIZ, in a preceding interview. “Since we’re not doing the Toronto show any longer, we decided to replace it with the L.A. show and have better weather for the Mansion party.”

Despite the date change, the annual conference enjoyed a strong turnout.

The Webmaster Access L.A. Golf Tournament presented by X2K and NetBilling kicked off the day with a noon tee off time on the lush green course of Robinson Ranch Golf Club, located at Fair Oaks Ranch, Calif.

Players were offered a ride to and from the Sheraton Universal, lunch, prizes, giveaways, snacks and drinks. The event’s sponsors included CamZ, CECash, Epoch, National Net and ColdHardCash.

Day one concluded with an elegant poolside Corporate Cocktail Reception just in time for a beautiful California sunset.
