Playboy TV to Explore Adult Online World in New Series

LOS ANGELES — Playboy TV has tapped a team of beauties and geeks to explore the steamy world of online sexual liaisons for the rest of us.

It's a new series called "e-ROTIC," and it stars a team of technically inclined and self-professed geeks who pair up with attractive women. Together they'll highlight the hottest sites on the web — sort of a naughty version of "Rachael Ray's Vacation."

The female hosts are Bridget Banks and Kate Brenner, who will work with online experts Justin Michael and Jacob Reed. Playboy TV VP of Programming Todd Schwartz said that he hopes the new show can help casual surfers make sense of all the adult selections online.

“This is a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of these ubiquitous URLs,” he said. “Playboy TV’s 'e-ROTIC' is a viewer’s guide to the most interesting sites in cyberspace which share the Playboy spirit of creativity and self-expression.”

Along with "e-ROTIC," Playboy TV plans to roll out more original programming that will include more reality shows.

Playboy TV's "e-ROTIC" will premiere this Friday at 9:30 p.m. EDT and PDT.
