Cherie DeVille Joins Woodhull Freedom Foundation 'Free Speech' Panel

LOS ANGELES — Multi-XMAs winner Cherie DeVille will join the upcoming Woodhull Freedom Foundation panel series "Fact Checked by Woodhull," addressing free speech on Feb. 26.

The livestreamed panel, titled “Checking the Facts: Free Speech Edition,” will feature industry members, journalists, and lawyers examining the First Amendment’s protection of sexual expression and the growing efforts to restrict it through legislation targeting pornography, sex education, and online speech. Additional panelists include Taylor Lorenz, Lawrence Walters, and Woodhull’s Senior Policy Analyst Allison Grossman.

“DeVille’s participation draws on 15 years of experience in sex work and advocacy, as well as her ongoing work writing and speaking about performer rights, digital privacy, and the political forces shaping the adult industry,” said a rep. “Her perspective will contribute to a conversation focused on separating fact from misinformation and equipping audiences with the tools to better understand and defend free speech protections.

Added DeVille, “I appreciate spaces like this that are focused on facts, not fear. Free speech and sexual expression are deeply connected, and conversations like this help people understand what’s actually at stake when those rights are challenged. I’m glad to be part of a panel that’s bringing clarity instead of noise.”
