According to the company, Stimulcast is a free live webcam broadcasting system which employs simple plug and play technology to allow users to include live webcam shows on their own website. This gives users the ability to broadcast without directing customers away from their website and allows them to reach more potential members.
Once approved, users simply paste the provided code into the visitors and members area of their website. StimulCast is reportedly compatible with any webcam and browser; with high definition available using webcams that support it.
An integrated chat and instant messenger allows connections to AOL, Yahoo, and MSN accounts, further enhancing the program's flexibility.
Performers can start a live show, and then click the 'exclusive' button, blocking anyone that is not a member from viewing the show. Visitors are presented a promotional animation or video informing them to sign up to view your exclusive live shows, which can be recorded and viewed later on your website, or on a mobile device.
Performers can also take snapshots while performing, which are instantly available; and the system can be used to broaden a fan base by being plugged into other networks, providing access to potential new customers daily.
Now in its beta release, Stimulcast will initially be used on Totallytabitha.com and Karenkouger.com.
