LAS VEGAS — Disruptive Films has released the first chapter of its new feature “The Hive,” titled “Ovum.”
Written and directed by Micah Martinez, the feature stars Andrew Delta, Carter Woods, Trevor Harris, Justin Matthews, Jay Wu, Ty Santana, and Colt Spence.
“The feature explores a wellness retreat that isn’t quite what it seems,” said a rep. “In the first chapter, Trevor and Andrew prepare to set off for a wellness retreat, and Carter makes his feelings of disapproval clear. Andrew might partially agree, but he intends to support Trevor and go along for the ride — after a sexy going away present from his boyfriend, of course.”
Martinez elaborated about the project.
“The cult concept came to me very quickly,” said Martinez. “The idea of a community where members are tormented and controlled by having their personal pains used against them was just the right kind of twisted.”
Added Woods, “Working with Andrew, Trevor, Justin, and the ASGmax crew is always a pleasure. This one is for sure going to be something to look out for and definitely one of the best films of the year.”
